Step 1
Remove the cable lock and/or padlock, if they are installed.

Step 2
Loosen the captive thumbscrew that secures the access panel.

Step 3
Press on the access panel and slide it forward about half an inch.

Step 4
Lift the panel away from the chassis.

Step 1
Position the access panel over the chassis about half an inch beyond the front of the computer so that the tabs on the access panel align with the slots on the chassis guide rails.

Step 2
Press on the access panel and slide it back until it is flush with the front bezel.

Step 3
Tighten the thumbscrew.
