HP Web Jetadmin 10 - How to Change the HTTP and HTTPS Port Numbers

Issue:
There may be times when the default HTTP or HTTPS port numbers that HP Web Jetadmin uses need to be changed. For example, another application running on the same server as HP Web Jetadmin might be using the same ports, or security issues might require that the port numbers be changed.
Solution
HTTP and HTTPS port numbers cannot be changed through the application UI and must be changed manually using the AppData directory. To manually change the default HTTP or HTTPS port that launches the HP Web Jetadmin Smart Client application, follow these steps:
  1. Open Folder options, click the View tab, and then select Show hidden files, folders and drives to unhide the AppData directory.
  2. Go to the following directory on the HP Web Jetadmin server:
    C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Local\Hewlett-Packard\HPWebJetadmin\WjaService\config
    note:
HP Web Jetadmin 10.3 Service Release 8 supports the directory listed above for the following operating systems: Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, and Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit edition only).
  3. Open the HP.Imaging.Wjp.Core.WebServer.config.xml file and change the value of the HTTP and/or HTTPS port numbers (8000 and/or 8443 values):
Figure : "HttpPort" and "HttpsPort" entries in the HP.Imaging.Wjp.Core.WebServer.config.xml file
  4. Save and exit the HP.Imaging.Wjp.Core.WebServer.config.xml file.
  5. Stop and restart the HPWJA Service.
