HP Designjet - End of Service Life (EOSL) Customer Newsletter

Effective on 30 October 2019, HP will discontinue all services and support for:
  • C7791C - HP Designjet 130 Printer
  • C7791F - HP Designjet 130nr Printer
  • C7791H - HP Designjet 130r Printer
  • CG710A - HP Designjet 5100 Printer
  • CN727A - HP Designjet T2300 MFP Printer
  • CN728A - HP Designjet T2300 Postscript MFP Printer
  • CN728B - HP Designjet T2300 Postscript e-MFP Printer
  • CQ105A - HP Designjet T7100 Printer
  • CQ105B - HP Designjet T7100 Printer with Encrypted HDD
  • CQ106A - HP Designjet T7100 Printer
  • CQ653B - HP Designjet T1200 HD MFP Printer
This discontinuation of service and support includes the stopping of sale and provision of Customer Self-Repair (CSR) parts or spare parts for the HP discontinued Printer.
After the EOSL date, it will not be possible to get support from HP regarding the following areas:
  • Phone support discontinuance – it will not be possible to get online phone support for the EOSL printers.
  • On-site repair – HP will stop providing on-site support for troubleshooting, repair, setup or any other actions related to the EOSL printers.
  • Software support – HP will not provide any kind of support for drivers, printer firmware, or utilities related to the EOSL printers. This includes no support for new operating systems or eventual new vulnerabilities.
  • CarePack/Contract portfolio – all CarePacks available for the EOSL printer will be discontinued and it will not be possible to contract any support or warranty extensions.
  • Spare part availability – the spare parts related to the EOSL printers listed below will not be available from HP, but some service partners may have parts stored. They will be able to sell parts until their stock is completely deplete. Contact your local service partner to have more information.
The end of service life (EOSL) does not affect the availability of Ink Supplies or Printheads. They will be fully available after the EOSL date and until further communication.
However, HP is committed to investing in the development of our products to introduce new features for our existing platforms. We have excellent new alternatives available for purchase in the HP portfolio to continue supporting and helping to grow your business.
