HP Neverstop Laser 1000 Printers - Loading Paper, Envelopes

This document is for HP Neverstop Laser 1000a, 1000w, 1000n, and 1001nw printers.

Load paper or envelopes in the input tray.

Load plain paper

Load plain unused paper in the input tray.

Remove the input tray cover.
Slide out the paper guides as far as possible.
Flex or fan the edge of the paper stack to separate the pages.
Insert the stack of paper into the input tray with the top forward and print side up.

caution:
To prevent jams, do not overfill the tray. Make sure the top of the stack is below the paper fill guide inside the printer.
Slide in the paper guides until they touch the edges of the paper.
Replace the input tray cover.
Pull out the output bin extension.

Your printer is now ready to print on plain paper. Before printing, make sure to select the correct paper size and settings from the computer.

Load envelopes

Load envelopes in the input tray.

Remove the input tray cover.
Slide out the paper guides as far as possible.
Load a stack of envelopes into the input tray with the short edge forward and the print side up. Push the stack into the tray until it stops.
Slide in the paper guides until they rest against the edges of the envelopes.
Replace the input tray cover.
Pull out the output bin extension.

Your printer is now ready to print on envelopes. Before printing, make sure to select the correct envelope size and settings from the computer.
