DESCRIPTION
After performing an F11 system recovery, the Fn+ F12 key combination fails to switch the computer into or out of Airplane mode.

  • Microsoft Windows 10 Home (32-bit)

  • Microsoft Windows 10 Home (64-bit)
  • Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise (64-bit)
RESOLUTION
The Fn+F 12 keys cannot be used to toggle Airplane Mode on or off. There are alternative methods including using the Action Center:
  1. Click or tap Network settings in the task tray.
  2. Click or tap the Airplane mode tile to toggle on or off.

Airplane mode can also be turned on and off from the Action Center and from network settings in the control panel.
