Version: 1
System BIOS Update 01.09 for HP Elite x2 1011 G1
Release date : 18-Aug-2015
Last updated : 18-Aug-2015
REASON FOR CHANGE
Quarterly refresh for factory and Web release only.
IMPACT OF CHANGE
If computer is updated from version 01.06 or older to version 01.09, is possible that computer could power off instead of auto-booting right after BIOS flash completion. If this happens, press the Power button and the computer will power on normally. To avoid this, it is recommended to upgrade to version 01.08 first.
The SoftPaq release for version 01.09 will automatically upgrade to 01.08 first, if it detects a BIOS version older or the same as 01.06. Running the SoftPaq a second time will upgrade to 01.09.
If the computer has version 01.07 or newer, then SoftPaq 01.09 will upgrade directly to 01.09.
