DESCRIPTION
HP has discovered an issue with older BIOS versions that can, in rare instances, cause BIOS variable corruption. When the issue occurs the system will fail to complete POST, hanging with a black screen. If left powered on, after approximately 45 seconds, the cooling fan will ramp up to full speed.
