The system error log

The printer saves a log of system errors that you can access in the following ways.
Using a USB flash drive
  1. Create an empty file named pdipu_enable.log in a USB flash drive.
  2. Insert the USB flash drive into the Hi-Speed USB host port at the front of the printer. The log will be automatically copied into the drive.
Using the Embedded Web Server
  1. In your Web browser, go to http://printer IP address/hp/device/webAccess/log.html.
  2. The Embedded Web Server will send you a file called log.tar.gz containing the system error log.
