HP LP2475w/ZR2740w Performance Monitors - The Display Turns Black Randomly for a Few Seconds

The screen turns black when switching a nearby electrical device on or off.
Examples include a halogen lamp on the desk, ringing cell phone placed under the monitor, or a working fan placed on the desk.
Electromagnetic interferences which might display in the surrounding environment when the cell phone receives an incoming call, or when a device with an AC/DC converter is working close to the monitor, can cause this issue. Interference might influence currents of the Display Port cable electrical lines, causing the monitor to lose sync of the video signal.
To resolve this issue, replace the Display Port cable with a genuine HP cable:
Standard display port cable (straight-through)
