DESCRIPTION
The WiFi icon in the system tray of desktop mode may appear crossed out for 30-40s after start or restart of the tablet. This issue has no impact on the functionality of the tablets WIFI.

RESOLUTION
To work around this symptom, turn off the Fast Startup in the power plan.
  1. Open the Control Panel in icon view, and select the Power Options icon.
  2. Select Choose what the power buttons do.
  3. Select Change settings that are currently unavailable.
  4. If prompted by the User Account Control (UAC), select Yes.
  5. Under Shutdown Settings, deselect the Turn on fast startup box, and tap on the Save Changes button.
  6. Close the Power Options window.
