How do I delete an icon of a deleted program?
  1. Tap Start > Programs > File Explorer.
  2. Navigate to My Device\Windows\Start Menu\Programs.
  3. Tap and hold the desired icon.
  4. Tap Delete to remove the icon.
  5. Tap Yes.
How can I add photo to a contact?
  note:
You cannot assign photo to a SIM contact.
Follow these steps to add photo to a contact:
  1. Tap Start > Programs > Contacts.
  2. Select the contact you wish to add a photo to.
  3. Tap Menu > Edit.
  4. Scroll to the Picture field, tap space and select the picture you wish to add.

How do I find the MAC Address of my device?
  1. Turn on Wi-Fi. Tap Start > Settings > Connections > Wireless Manager > Wi-Fi. This will turn the Wi-Fi on. The device detects the available networks and prompts you to connect.
  2. Select a network and tap Connect.
  3. After connecting, tap Start > Settings > System > HP Asset Viewer.
  4. Tap the WLAN tab. The MAC Address is displayed at the bottom.

How do I store a conference call number with characters on my device?
To join a conference using the conference call services, you need to dial the conference number, and a * (star) key. After a pause, dial the unique access code provided followed by a # (hash) key.
If you want to store this conference call number on the device, insert the letter ‘p’ in the number combinations to activate the pause while dialing. You can also store the characters ‘*’ and ‘#’ as part of the number. Storing the number in your contacts will allow you to place a conference call directly from your address book.
How can I connect to the internet using my HP iPAQ 910c as a modem for my laptop?
  1. Connect the device to your laptop via USB cable.
  2. Tap Start > Programs > Internet Sharing.
  3. In the PC Connection field, select USB.
  4. In the Network Connection field, select any method of data connection such as GPRS/Edge/3G.
  5. Tap Connect.
You can now connect to the internet using the device’s data connection.

Why there is a time difference of one hour between the device and my computer?
The device has the facility to adjust automatically to daylight saving time. However, the computer does not have this facility.
  1. On your computer, double-click on the Date and Time icon.
  2. In the Date and Time Properties window, click Time Zone.
  3. From the list, select the appropriate time zone.
Make sure that the computer and the device are set to similar time zones.
How do I disable the screen saver?
  1. Tap Start > HP Photosmart Mobile.
  2. Tap Menu > Tools > Screen Saver.
  3. Clear the Show Screen Saver checkbox.
  4. Tap ok.

How do I reestablish a partnership with the same partnership name with the device?
To start a new partnership with the device with the same name as the old partnership, delete the old partnership from both the device and the computer, and create a new one.
Follow these steps to delete the old partnership from the computer.
  1. On the ActiveSync application on the computer, click File > Mobile Device.
  2. Select the desired device.
  3. Click File > Delete Mobile Device.
  4. When prompted, click Yes.
Follow these steps to delete the old partnership from the device.
  1. Tap Start > Programs > ActiveSync.
  2. Tap Menu > Options.
  3. Select Windows PC.
  4. Tap Delete.
  note:
You can also perform a hard reset on the device to delete the old partnership.
