HP OfficeJet Pro 8700 Printers - Loading Paper, Cards, and Envelopes

1. Pull out the input tray.

2. Slide out the paper-width guides as far as possible.
3. Remove all the paper from the input tray, and then load envelopes with the print-side down. Determine which type of envelope you have, and then position the envelopes as shown.

4. Make sure the stack of envelopes is aligned with the appropriate paper size lines on the bottom of the input tray. Do not load more than 30 envelopes at a time or exceed maximum stack height.

   Do not load envelopes while the printer is printing.

5. Slide in the paper-width guides until they rest against the stack of envelopes.
   Do not push in the guides so tightly that they bind against the envelopes.

6. Slide the paper-length guide forward until it rests against the stack of envelopes.

7. Insert the input tray into the printer.

After loading envelopes, make sure to select the correct paper size and paper type settings when printing or copying.

2. Slide out the paper-width guides as far as possible.
3. Insert the stack of paper or cards print side down in portrait orientation, and then load the stack in the center of the input tray.

4. Make sure the stack of paper or cards is aligned. Do not load more than 50 cards/photos or exceed maximum stack height.

   Do not load paper while the printer is printing.

5. Slide in the paper-width guides until they rest against the stack.
   Do not push in the guides so tightly that they bind against the paper or cards.

6. Slide the paper-length guide forward until it rests against the stack of photo paper or cards.

7. Insert the input tray into the printer.
