Loading Paper and Envelopes for HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer Series

Introduction

This document provides instructions for loading plain paper, photo paper, and envelopes. For a list of the paper types that the printer supports, go to the Printer Specifications document on the HP website.

Load plain paper

Use these steps to load U.S. letter or A4 size paper in the printer.

Raise the photo tray.
Slide the paper width guides to their outermost positions.

Load a stack of plain paper into the tray with the short edge facing toward the product and the print side down (if the paper has a print side). Push the stack into the tray until it stops.

Slide the paper width guides until they rest against the edges of the paper.

Close the photo tray and the paper tray, pull the tray extender toward you, and then extend the paper catch until it is fully extended.

Load photo paper

Follow these steps to load photo paper in the printer.

Open the photo tray, and then slide the paper width guides to their outermost positions.
Load a stack of photo paper into the tray, with the short edge facing toward the product and the print side down. Push the stack into the tray until it stops.

Close the photo tray.

Load envelopes

Follow these steps to load one or more envelopes in the printer.

bemærk:
Do not use shiny or embossed envelopes or envelopes that have clasps or windows.

Raise the paper tray, and then slide the paper width guides to their outermost positions.

bemærk:
If the photo tray is open, close the photo tray, and then raise the paper tray until it is open.
Load one or more envelopes into the tray, with the flaps on the left and facing up.

Slide the paper width guide so that it rests against the stack of envelopes.

Close the photo tray and the paper tray, pull the tray extender toward you, and then extend the paper catch until it is fully extended.
