HP Scanjet Scanners - Scanning a Multi-Page Document into TIFF and View

This document explains how to scan a multi-page document into TIFF format and view. This can be a single file or individual files for each page.

Details

Scan with HP Solution Center:
The user has the option to save the multi-page document into a single file or individual files for each page. HP Solution Center has the option as shown below:
To scan multiple pages from Flatbed, the user needs to click Add page during preview and click Done at the end to finish.
Scan with SDSS:
It is similar in that the user can scan a multi-page document into a single file or individual files for each page. This option is available in SDSS under Process tab as shown below. Default is single file for a document.
If the user wants to scan a multi-page document using Flatbed, click Scan after every page scan and add page and finally click Done to finish.
View multi-page TIFF document:
When double-clicked to open a multi-page TIFF document, it will open using default Microsoft Office Picture Manager and shows only first page and no option to see the rest of the pages. To view all pages, open with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. It has an option to select and view the required page as shown below:
The other option to view all pages like any other document is to use a third-party application like Brawa! Reader or something as per the user's choice. HP holds no responsibility for this option.
