HOW TO CONNECT A GUEST HEADSET TO MY SAVI 8200 OFFICE BASE

You can set up a conference call with 3 additional headsets connected to the same base

To connect a Guest headset to a Savi 8200 series base, try one of the following.

Join Savi headsets automatically

Steps to automatically connect the headset to the base

  1. While on a call, place the guest headset into the primary user's charge cradle. The base subscription LED flashes green.

  2. The primary user will hear a request "Conference requested." To accept the request, press the primary user's headset Call button

  3. The base subscription LED turns solid yellow to indicate conference call mode. View conference call status in Poly Lens Desktop App.

Steps to manually connect the headset to the base

  1. While on a call, press the base subscription button. The base subscription LED flashes yellow and green.

  2. On guest headset, press and hold the Volume up button or turn the Volume wheel up for 4 seconds once you let go of the button the headset LED will begin blinking red/green (8240/8245 guest headset should get a solid white light).

  3. The primary user will hear "Conference requested." To accept the request, press the primary user's headset Call button. The base subscription LED turns solid yellow to indicate conference call mode. View conference call status in Poly Lens Desktop App.

Exit a conference call

Guest headsets can remain as guests through multiple calls.

To remove a guest headset, either press the guest headset's Call button or dock the primary user's headset in the charge cradle.

  • If the headset doesn't go on subscription mode by pressing and holding the Volume + button/wheel, please try pressing and holding the call button for 4 seconds. The Headset LED should begin blinking red/green (on the Savi 8240/8245 will be solid white).
