HP Instant Ink - Manage your ink or toner

Sign into your HP Instant Ink account to track shipments, order recycling envelopes, and learn more about ink and toner cartridges.

Note:

Business: Only administrators can make changes in Business accounts.

Where is my shipment?

HP Instant Ink is a Subscription Service that sends ink, toner, or paper* before you need them, based on your printing volume. You might not receive a shipment every month. If you print a lot, you might receive several shipments in a month.

New to the program? Most new printers come with ink or toner cartridges that can be used as part of the Instant Ink program. If you enroll in Instant Ink during initial setup, you can start printing pages in the program right away. When you provide a delivery address, a new set of cartridges arrives within 10 days. If you select the paper option for an enrolled printer, you receive your Welcome Kit for Instant Ink plus Paper within 10 days.

Missing a shipment?

Sign into your account:
- Home / Home Office: Sign into your Instant Ink account
- Business: Sign into your Instant Ink for Business account
Click HP Instant Ink Shipment Tracking to track previous shipments and see an estimate of your next shipment date.
You might have received your last shipment a while ago. If you cannot locate a shipment, contact HP Instant Ink support for assistance:
- Home / Home Office: HP Instant Ink support
- Business: HP Instant Ink for Business support

*The paper option is not available in all areas. If it is available, it is displayed on your Instant Ink account page and may be selected as an option for an enrolled printer.

Recycle your cartridges

HP Instant Ink makes it easy to recycle your ink or toner cartridges.

Note:

HP Instant Ink or toner cartridges are the property of HP and must be returned when empty, or when your service is canceled.

Recycle ink cartridges: Postage-paid recycling envelopes are included with most ink cartridge shipments. To maximize environmental benefits, wait until you have three to eight empty ink cartridges, fill the envelope, and then send them back together. If you do not have a postage-paid recycling envelope, either wait for the next shipment or order an extra envelope.
Recycle toner cartridges: Prepaid return address labels for toner recycling are provided with most shipments. Use the packaging the replacement toner came in to return toner being recycled, or use your own packaging with the supplied label.
Recycle a non-HP Instant Ink part: Go to HP Product return and recycling for more information.
To order another envelope or prepaid return address label:
1. Sign into your account:
  Home / Home Office: Sign into your Instant Ink account
  
  Business: Sign into your Instant Ink for Business account
2. Click HP Instant InkOverview in the left side menu.
3. Click Recycle your ink cartridge or Recycle your toner cartridge at the bottom of the Cartridge Status area.

Why are my cartridges different?

The Instant Ink cartridges sent to you are intended to work in your printer. Please try them.

HP Instant Ink cartridges may be a different size or have a different number than you expected.
As an example, all of these Instant Ink cartridges work in the same printer:
