DESCRIPTION

All Privacy settings are unchecked after completing a System Recovery with the "Keep my files" option selected. This occurs after the recovery is complete, and the HP Privacy Settings app is launched.

This is exhibited after completing the following recovery option:

Start > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC > Keep my files

RESOLUTION

Perform the following steps to restore the desired privacy settings.

Click Start.
Locate and click HPPrivacy Settings.
Click on an option to turn on the desired privacy settings, or select Yes to All.
Close the HPPrivacy Settings window.
