Troubleshoot 30.xx (scan failure) error messages

This document provides information about how to resolve common error messages related to scan failures. It does not contain all of the possible error codes for HP LaserJet Pro printers.
The following table lists common control panel messages and event codes for HP LaserJet printers. It also lists descriptions of the codes and the actions recommend to resolve the errors.

Turn the printer off, and on again, and then try the job again.

Check all flat-flexible cables that connect the scanner.
