The envelope setting in Microsoft Word 2013, Word 2010, Word 2007, or Word 2003 might not be correct. Follow these steps to configure the envelope print settings in Microsoft Word.

Step 1: Load envelopes

Follow these steps to correctly load the envelopes into the paper tray.
  1. Remove any paper from the input tray.
  2. Slide the paper guides to their outermost positions.
  3. Load the envelope into the input tray, as pictured on the tray or in the printer user guide.
    note:
You can load one or more envelopes in the tray, but do not load more than five envelopes at a time. Do not use shiny or embossed envelopes or envelopes that have clasps or windows.
  4. Slide in the paper guides so that they rest against the edge of the envelope. Make sure that the envelope is centered in the tray.
  5. Push the paper tray into the printer.
