HP Designjet 10ps and 20ps - Installing RIP Software Version 2.1 in Windows and Macintosh Operating Systems

HP Designjet 10ps installation for Windows
The procedure described below should be followed to install the HP Designjet 10ps software under Microsoft Windows.
Found new hardware (Plug & Play)
If you are using Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, or Microsoft® Windows XP, you may see a message telling you that new hardware has been found and prompting you for a new driver before the installation of the HP Designjet 10ps or 20ps software.
This occurs because these versions of Windows have a Plug & Play facility that detects a new device that has been connected to your computer.
To avoid repeated interruptions by this message:
  1. In the Welcome dialog box of the Found New Hardware window, check the Install from a list or specific location (Advance) check box.
  2. Select Search for the driver on the CD-ROM. If you cannot find the driver using the automatic selection, you will find it in the following location:
    <cd-rom drive>\install\noncompressed\hp Designjet 10 20\English\OutputDrivers\HP Designjet 10 20\PNP2000\oemsetup.
The <PNPOS> can be either: PNP98 (for Windows 98 and Me) or PNP2000 (for Windows 2000 and XP).
