HP Designjet 650C Model B Printers - Canceling a Plot or Process

Canceling Plotting
  1. Press CANCEL on the front panel.
When plotting, Cancel stops plotting the current drawing but does not immediately remove it from the queue.
If queuing is on and there are no more drawings in the queue, the plot remains in the buffer. The canceled plot may be replotted by moving it to the top of the queue. If more plots are waiting in the queue, the printer begins plotting the next plot.
If queuing is off, an incoming plot overwrites the canceled plot in the buffer. To replot the canceled plot, resend it from the computer.

Canceling Accuracy Calibration

When canceling an accuracy calibration, the printer advances the media and cancels the process. To redo the accuracy calibration, start from the beginning.

Canceling Media Loading

When canceling the loading of media, the printer instructs on removing the media before continuing.

To advance (and cut) the page

  1. Press Form Feed/Cut on the front panel.
When sheet media is loaded, the printer advances the page and hangs it from the rollers. Pull the media to remove it from the printer.
When roll media is loaded, the printer advances the page 17 mm (0.65 inch) and cuts it.
  2. If the printer is drying the ink, pressing Form Feed/Cut causes the printer to ignore the ink-drying time and immediately drop the page into the media bin.
  3. If the printer is waiting for a time-out period, pressing Form Feed/Cut causes the printer to ignore the time-out setting and immediately begin plotting.
