Use the following procedure to clear jams in Tray 2. When a jam occurs, the control panel displays a message and an animation that assists in clearing the jam.

Pull the tray completely out of the printer by pulling and lifting up slightly.Figure : Open and remove tray 2

Remove the jammed paper from the feed rollers inside the printer. First pull the paper to the right, and then pull it forward to remove it.Figure : Remove jammed paper from the tray feed rollers

Remove any jammed or damaged sheets of paper from the tray. Verify that the tray is not overfilled and that the paper guides are adjusted correctly.Figure : Removed damaged sheets from the tray
