HP Deskjet, Photosmart 6520 Printers - Loading Paper and Envelopes

This document is for HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 6525 and HP Photosmart 6520, 6521, and 6525 e-All-in-One printers.

Your printer can print on plain or specialty paper. Load plain paper, photo paper, and envelopes in the printer.

let op:
To avoid printing issues, never load multiple types of paper in the paper tray or attempt to load paper while the printer is printing.

Load plain paper

Load plain paper, such as U.S. letter and A4, print side down into the paper input tray.

Pull out the input tray until it stops, and then slide the paper guides to their outermost positions.
Remove any previously loaded media.
Load a stack of plain paper into the input tray with the short edge first and the print side down. Push the stack into the tray until it stops.
Slide in the paper guides until they rest against the edges of the paper.
Push the input tray into the printer, and then open the paper tray extender.

Load photo paper

Load 10x13 cm (4x5 in), 10x15 cm (4x6 in), or 13x18 cm (5x7 in) photo paper into the photo paper tray.

Pull open the photo tray, and then slide the paper guides to their outermost positions.
Load a stack of photo paper into the tray, with the short edge facing toward the printer and the print side down. Push the stack into the tray until it stops.
Slide in the paper guides until they rest against the edges of the paper.
Close the photo tray, and then push the paper tray into the printer.

Load envelopes

Load the input tray with blank envelopes print side down to print addresses.

opmerking:
Do not use shiny or embossed envelopes or envelopes that have clasps or windows.

Pull out the input tray until it stops, and then slide the paper guides to their outermost positions.

Load one or more envelopes into the tray, with the flaps on the left and facing up.

Slide in the paper guides so that they rest against the stack of envelopes.

Push the paper tray into the printer.
