Effective December 05, 2023, HP is enhancing the BIOS on the HP 2020 desktop PCs.
The new software and BIOS updates are available for download from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page after the effective date.
HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Tower PC/HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Small Form Factor PC, HP EliteOne 800 G6 All-in-One, HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Desktop Mini PC, HP ProDesk 600 G6 Microtower PC/HP ProDesk 600 G6 PCI Microtower PC, HP ProDesk 600 G6 Small Form Factor PC, HP ProDesk 600 G6 Desktop Mini PC, HP ProOne 600 G6/HP ProOne 440 G6/HP ProOne 400 G6 All-in-One, HP ProDesk 400 G7 Small Form Factor PC, HP ProDesk 400 G7/HP ProDesk 480 G7 Microtower PC, HP ProDesk 400 G6 Desktop Mini PC, HP EliteDesk 805 G6 Small Form Factor PC, HP EliteDesk 805 G6 Desktop Mini PC, HP Engage One Pro System BIOS have the following enhancements added:

Enhancement to support SMBIOS type1 version string for 'db' addition.

Enhancements to secure boot keys protection.

Fixes issue when the system cannot to create a POST Power-On Password, when “Create POST Power-On Password” is selected and the PIN provided by the “Phone App” is entered, after creating the BIOS Administrator Password with EBAM.

Fixes issue when the Power-On Authentication with fingerprint is not working.

Fixes an issue when the FUR GUI reports "Incorrect password was entered" when BIOS is flashed with correct password after setting up BEAM and BIOS admin password.

Enhancement to address security vulnerabilities CVE-2023-25756 and CVE-2023-22329.
HP ProDesk 405 G6 Small Form Factor PC and HP ProDesk 405 G6 Desktop Mini PC System BIOS have the following enhancements added:
