Create custom paper sizes (Mac)

Create new paper sizes in the Page Setup or the Print menu depending on the options available in the application you are printing from.

Create custom paper sizes from the Page Setup menu (Mac)

Create a custom paper size from the Page Setup option in the application you are printing from.

  1. Load the custom paper into the main tray, and then slide the paper width guides in until they rest against the edges of the paper.

  2. Open the item you want to print, click File, and then click Page Setup.

  3. Select Manage Custom Sizes from the Paper Size menu to open the Custom Paper Sizes window.

  4. Click the plus sign to create a new paper size.

  5. Double-click the default untitled name to type a unique name for the custom paper, set the width and height, set the non-printable area (optional), and then click OK.

    Note:

    Do not use an existing name for the new paper because it overrides the existing preset. For example, if a custom paper size is named A4, the existing A4 paper size is no longer available as a choice.

  6. In the Page Setup window, select the new custom paper size, and then click OK.

  7. Click File, and then select Print to print on the custom paper.
