DESCRIPTION
The computer cannot resume from Modern Standby mode with the power button on the docking station, nor with the power button on the computer. This occurs while the computer is attached to the HP Elite Thunderbolt 3 65W Dock while it is in Modern Standby mode.

SCOPE
The information in this document applies to the following:

  • HP EliteBook Folio G1 Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) Bundle
Operating Systems:
  • Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)
  • Microsoft Windows 10 Home (64-bit)
  • Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise (64-bit)
RESOLUTION
To recover from this issue, perform either of the following options listed below:
Option 1: Undock and re-dock the computer to the docking station.
Option 2: Power cycle the dock by unplugging and reconnect connecting the power to the dock.
Option 3: Open and close the computer lid.
Option 4: Touch the keyboard to wake the computer.
