When the HP Slate 2 is docked and connected to an external display panel, the results of any touch input occur on the external monitor instead of the internal display panel. For example, attempting to move the on-screen cursor across the internal display causes it to move across the external display instead.

HP Slate 2 Tablet PC
To resolve this issue, do the following:
- Click Start and select Control Panel.
- When the Control Panel opens, double-click Tablet PC Settings.
- Select Configure - Setup.
- Select Touch, then follow the on-screen instructions. When prompted, touch the HP Slate 2 screen to identify it as the touch screen. If connected to an external display panel, the same option is available so press Enter at this configuration stage.
- Press Enter to complete setup.
If the touch screen configuration changes and the issue occurs again, reconfigure as described above.
