HP Printers - How To Remove a Printer In Windows Vista

How to remove a printer in Windows Vista.
It is not possible to remove a printer if items are in the print queue. If items are waiting to print when trying to remove a printer, Windows will wait until printing is complete, and then remove the printer. With permission to manage documents on the printer, cancel all print jobs and then try to remove the printer again.
  1. To open Printers, click the Start button , then Control Panel, and then, under Hardware and Sound, click Printers.
  2. Right-click the printer to be removed, and then click Delete.
If you can't delete the printer, right-click it again, click Run as administrator, and then click Delete. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
