    HP is aware of the recent vulnerabilities commonly referred to as "Spectre" and "Meltdown". HP has published a security bulletin with patches for these issues and a list of impacted systems. We will continue to update the bulletin as more information becomes available and encourage customers to check the bulletin frequently.

HP iPAQ Pocket PC h5100 and h5500 - Aligning the Screen

When the HP iPAQ Pocket PC is turned on for the first time, you are guided through a screen alignment process. The screen must be realigned if either of the following occurs:
  • The HP Pocket PC does not respond accurately to taps.
  • A full reset is performed of the HP Pocket PC.
To realign the HP iPAQ Pocket PC screen, do the following:
  1. From the Start menu, tap Settings, System tab, then Screen icon.
  2. Tap the Align Screen button.
      note:
    To use an alternate path to the same destination without tapping on the screen, press and release all four application buttons at the same time.
  3. Tap the cross-hair object at each location. Be precise when tapping the cross-hair object.
  4. Tap OK.
