If the LCD display panel is lit, but displays no text when powering on the printer, follow these steps:
- Power off the printer by pressing the power button.
- If the model of printer has an On/Off switch in the back (it will be close to where the power cable plugs into the printer), switch it to the Off position.
- Unplug the power cable from the printer and the wall outlet.
- Plug the power cable into the printer.
- Plug the power cable into a wall outlet.
- If the printer has it, switch the On/Off switch located on the back of the printer to the On position.
- Press the power button located on the printer.
