Problems with video chipsets can cause video graphics issues such as:
Recurring system lockups when playing 3D games.
Small dots of color spattered across the Windows desktop.
The inability to run certain 3D games.

If the graphics problem can be observed when the computer boots into the BIOS setup environment, contact HP customer support for further assistance.
If the graphic images are fine until the computer boots to the Windows desktop, the problem can probably be resolved by upgrading or reinstalling the latest graphics driver.
