When working with local files or external storage files in Chrome OS, there is no recycle bin or trash can where deleted files can later be accessed and restored. Look for an Undo button at the top of the app window if you want to restore an item immediately after deleting it. The Undo option is available for a very short time, and only if you have not taken any other action since deleting the file. In the future, consider saving backup copies of files, either online, on external storage media, and/or in local storage.
If you accidentally deleted an item that was stored in Google Drive, use the following steps:
Click the apps icon button
in the launcher, and then click Google Drive
Figure : Google Drive in the apps list
You cannot restore items in Google Drive from within the Files app. Use the Google Drive Web app to restore deleted files. On a non-Chrome device, access your Google Drive by signing in to your Google Account at drive.google.com
In the left navigation panel of the Google Drive Web app, click More to see additional drive options.
Click Trash to view a list of deleted items.
Click the boxes to place check marks next to each file or folder you want to restore, and then click Restore.
The items are restored to their original location on Google Drive.
