Unable to delete some specific email messages from mailbox using any version of Outlook. When users click Delete, there is no error message or nothing happens.
Users get the below error when they try to delete from OWA:
"Some items cannot be deleted. They were either moved or already deleted, or access was denied."
Users get the below warning while trying to delete from MFCMapi:
Code: MAPI_W_PARTIAL_COMPLETION == 0x00040680 Function IpParentFolajer->DeleteFolder( lpItemEID->cb, (LPENTRVID) lpItemEID->lpb, IpProgress ? (ULONG_PTR)m_hWnd : NULLJ IpProgress, ulFlags) File ,\MsgstoreDlg,cpp
Exchange Server 2010 SP1 RU5.
OS Windows Server 2008 R2.
The possible cause could be the creator entry ID is not set on the affected email message or the message itself is corrupted.
To resolve the problem, move the mailbox to a different database.
