The Mouse Cursor Turns Into an Hourglass (System is Busy) After an HP Printer Network Installation

Issue
The computer is busy or performance becomes poor after installing the HP printer on a network.
Additionally, one or more of the following symptoms might occur:
  • The mouse cursor freezes, flickers, or turns into an hourglass.
  • Task manager reports that HPNetworkCommunicator is running excessively.
  • While the printer is offline, the mouse cursor freezes, flickers, or turns into an hourglass.
  • When the computer is not connected to or in range of the network that the printer is connected to, the mouse cursor freezes, flickers, or turns into an hourglass.
 note:
This document only applies to computers experiencing one or more of these symptoms following an HP network installation. This document does not address computer performance as a result of any other issue.
