HP Smart Web Printing Software - Internet Explorer 9 and Later Versions are Not Compatible with HP Smart Web Printing

Issue
Internet Explorer 9 and later versions are not compatible with HP Smart Web Printing.
Solution
HP Smart Print is a new program replacing HP Smart Web Printing. HP Smart Print is supported in Internet Explorer, version 10 and earlier.
To start using HP Smart Print, first uninstall the HP Smart Web Printing software, and then download the new HP Smart Print software.
Step one: Uninstall HP Smart Web Printing software
Click the plus sign () next to your operating system, and then complete the steps to uninstall HP Smart Web Printing.
Step two: Download and install the new HP Smart Print program
HP Smart Print supports Internet Explorer version 10 and earlier.
Follow these steps to download and install HP Smart Print.
  1. Click this link, HP Smart Print to open the File Download window.
  2. In the Internet Explorer Security window, click Run.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  4. After the installation is complete, open the Web page you want to print in Internet Explorer.
  5. Right-click the top bar of Internet Explorer to open the drop-down list, and then click Command bar.

    1. Right-click the top bar
    2. Click 'Command bar' from the drop-down list

  6. Click the HP Smart Print icon () on the Command bar to open the program. HP Smart Print selects an initial print area.

  7. Click and drag the thick border around the Web page to resize the print area.
  8. Highlight an area to add or remove.
  9. Click Preview or Print.
