HP Connected - Changing Your HP ePrint Email Address

This document is for HP web-enabled printers that support HP ePrint.
These steps are for HP Connected. To find out if your country/region supports HP Connected, go to HP Connected, then click on the country/region and language. In the drop-down menu, find your country/region and language.
After you turn on Web Services, the HP ePrint server generates a unique email address for your printer, but you can change the address on your HP Connected account to one that is easier to remember.
To change your printer's email address, the printer must be set up on your HP Connected account. Go to Setting Up an HP Connected Account for more information.
 note:
If you turned off Web Services, restored the printer to factory settings, or performed a printer reset, you must turn on Web Services again to receive a new printer claim code and a new printer email address. You can reuse a previous printer email address or create a new one.
  1. Go to HP Connected, and then sign in to your account.
  2. Click the Devices tab.
    The Devices window opens and displays the printers connected to your account.
  3. Click Settings next to the printer you want to change.
  4. Under Your Printer's Email, click Change Email.

  5. Type a new HP ePrint email address in the text box, and then click OK.
    • If the address you typed is available, the address updates immediately.
    • If the address you typed is not available, try a different address or click one of the suggested addresses, and then click OK.
  6. Inform any allowed senders of the new HP ePrint email address.
