HP Notebook PCs - Touchpad Sensitivity and Cursor Issues on Certain Models

This document pertains to the HP Envy 13-1000 Notebook PC series and HP Envy 15-1000 Notebook PC series.
The Synaptic TouchPad Field has some response issues when using one finger to mouse and another finger to click. It has a tendency to move inaccurately. The sensitivity settings impact scrolling and other finger gestures, and may exhibit a jumpy cursor.
Install updated software
To resolve this issue, download and install the Synaptics TouchPad Driver at the HP Software and driver download web page. Once installed, run the TouchPad program and adjust the sensitivity settings to your preference.
