Solution
The error is generated as DCOM is unable to start a registered DCOM component MsDtsServer. The service fails to start as the SQL Server Integration Services service (MsDtsServer) has been disabled on both nodes.
There are three options to resolve this issue:
  • The error is a benign and can be ignored.
  • Set the SQL Server Integration Services service on both nodes to manual.
  • Use Add/Remove programs to uninstall Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Integration Services (64-bit), if it is not required.
