HP 7550A and 7550A Plus Plotters - Plotter Slows Down After Multiple Plots
After plotting several plots, the plotter tends to slow down.
This is normal. The plotter has an internal heat sensor which controls the plotter's plotting speed. The slow down would be noticed only after several plots or nonstop plotting for a period of time. The heat sensor is built in as a safety factor so the internal motors that control pen and paper movement will not get too hot.
