Do I need any special software or hardware for JetSend for Pocket PC to work and communicate with other JetSend enabled devices?
The mobile device needs at least 4 MB of total memory and 1300 KB for Pocket PCs. It should also be IR enabled (fast IR is recommended).
The mobile P/PC must be docked with the host computer and must have Pocket PC.
The desktop computer must have Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT 4.0, or Windows 2000 as its operating system and ActiveSync 3.0 loaded, before loading JetSend for Pocket PC.
How do I find the Pocket PC version number of my mobile device?
JetSend for Pocket PC supports Pocket PC or greater. To find which version you have, select Start, Settings, System, and then About on your mobile device. The Pocket PC version number appears.
How do I create and maintain an infrared connection?
The two infrared ports must be within one meter (3 feet) of each other but no closer than 5.08 centimeters (2 inches).
The infrared ports of the two devices must be lined up within a 30-degree angle of each other.
No obstacles must lie between the infrared ports of the devices.
How do I find the IP address of my Pocket PC device?
Select Start, Programs, JetSend, Exchanger, Tools, and choose “Display my IP address.”
Does JetSend for Pocket PC software work across the Internet?
JetSend for Pocket PC software offers the ability to send to any Intranet TCP/IP address.
Does JetSend for Pocket PC software work over any transport?
JetSend for Pocket PC is capable of communicating over any transport. However, this version works over infrared and TCP/IP.
Will JetSend for Pocket PC software work with all printers?
JetSend for Pocket PC will work with all JetSend-enabled TCP/IP and infrared printers.
What file formats does JetSend for Pocket PC Support?
JetSend for Pocket PC can receive multiple file formats however the JetSend viewer can only be used to view: .JPG, .TXT, .JSF (JetSend), .BMP, .GIF.
