Printing continuously with highly complex jobs or with best mode transparencies one after another for long sessions at a time, one might see an error writing to HP Standard TCP/IP or IPX/SPX Port. However, it does not cause any problems to the print jobs and printing still continues. The error message disappears after 5 to 10 seconds.
Nothing has to be done. This situation is harmless but may cause some alarm among administrators. This issue does not affect other network port monitors or JetDirect Port monitors (TCP/IP or IPX).
