HP 600LX Series Palmtop PCs - Maximum Recording Time or Voice Memo Storage Available
What is the maximum recording time or voice memo storage available in the HP 600LX Series Palmtop PC?
The maximum recording time or storage memory is dependent on the number of program files and data storage space already used up by the user. It also depends on the recording format used. There are two recording formats: PCM (non-compressed) and Mobile Voice (compressed). Using PCM format, you can record up to 20 minutes or 9 MB of voice memo using the default memory settings. Whereas, using Mobile Voice format, you can store up to 100 times more of voice memo within the same storage space. You can also go to Settings--Control Panel--Systems to modify the Memory allocations for Storage Memory and Program Memory. The message "Maximum recording size reached" will appear when there is not sufficient storage space in the PC.
