HP 360LX and 340LX Palmtop PCs - User Authentication During Installation in Windows NT 4.0
What do you do when a dialog box appears on the HP 360LX/340LX Palmtop PC requesting for user authentication during installation in Windows NT?
When installing Windows CE 2.0 on Windows NT, you may get a dialog box appearing on the HP 360LX/340LX Palmtop PC requesting user authentication. Do the following:
For "User Name, enter "guest".
For "Password", nothing is needed.
For "Domain", nothing is needed.
Please note that on Windows NT, "Guest" account must be enabled for dial-in access. Use Start -> Programs -> Administrative Tools -> User Manager to check if "Guest" is enabled for dial-in.
