HP 360LX and 340LX Palmtop PCs - Expanding Memory Capacity
Can memory for the HP Palmtop 360LX/340LX PC be expanded?
The HP Palmtop PC has a PC Card slot and a Compact Flash card slot. Flash memory cards can be used in these card slots to store more data in addition to the built-in internal memory in the palmtop PC. These memory cards can be used to back up PIM (Calendar, Contacts, Tasks) data, an HP exclusive, and travel safely away from the desktop PC. Pocket Word or Pocket Excel data files can also be opened off the memory cards and will, therefore, not be constrained by the internal memory size.
The HP Palmtop PC’s internal memory can be partitioned into storage memory (for storing data) and program memory (for running applications). Adding memory cards as described above can increase storage memory. If a lot of program memory is required, the internal memory can be partitioned, and memory cards used for additional storage.
