HP Color Inkjet CP1700 Series Printer - Paper is not Ejecting Properly
Pages print correctly but stay in the ejection area of the output tray and are pushed out by subsequent pages.
Follow the instructions below:
Manually rotate the ejection rollers, circled in Figure 1. The rollers should only move down (the direction they would spin while ejecting paper). If they move both ways, the printer needs to be repaired.Figure : The ejection rollers
If the ejection rollers are working properly, re-flash the firmware. Click here to go to the technical support home page for the printer to download the most recent firmware. On the technical support home page, click the download drivers and software link, click the desired printer, select the desired operating system, and then scroll down to the firmware.
If the problem persists, the printer needs to be repaired.
