If an attempt to install the printer driver with a USB connection fails, run the scrubber program on the Starter CD.
Insert the Starter CD into the CD drive on the computer.
Right-click the Start button and then click Explore.
Click the letter of the CD drive and then click UTILS, and then SCRUBBER.
Select the operating system (either Windows 2000 or Windows 98) and then double-click the SCRUB9X.EXE or SCRUB2K.EXE program and follow the directions on the screen.
If the uninstaller fails, go to the section marked Manually uninstalling the printer driver and follow the steps.
