The serial number is located on a label on the back of the HP Deskjet 1220C series printer.
Printer description
An HP Deskjet 1220C series printer can print vibrant colors on paper up to 13 x 50 inches. It connects directly to IBM and IBM-compatible computers through a parallel port or a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port. It connects to Macintosh computers through a USB port. The printer can also be shared on a network. Additionally, an HP Deskjet 1220C/PS series printer can print true Adobe (R) PostScript (R) 3 files through the use of Adobe PressReady Basics.
note:HP Deskjet 1220C/PS printers require a Raster Image Processor (RIP), such as Adobe PressReady Basic, to convert PostScript to PCL 3.
