HP 2000C Professional Series Color Printer - Setting Up the Accessory Paper Tray
How to set up the accessory paper tray for use with the HP 2000C Professional Series color printer.
Follow the steps below to attach the HP 2000C series printer to the accessory paper tray.
Position the accessory paper tray in the location where the HP 2000C series printer is to be used. The printer is designed to rest directly on top of the tray. The three metal pegs on the top of the tray align the tray to the printer.
Lift the printer by holding its left and right sides. Align the back of the printer's base with the back of the accessory paper tray, then set the printer directly on top of the accessory paper tray.
Open the cassette drawer of the accessory paper tray by grasping its handle on the left side and pulling the drawer outward until it stops. (The drawer should not be completely removed.)
Slide the paper width and length adjusters to their outermost positions.
Insert a stack of standard-sized paper into the drawer (up to 250 sheets, 1 inch or 26 mm thick) with the print side facing down.
Readjust the paper width and length adjusters to fit firmly against the paper's edges without bending the paper.
Close the cassette drawer. If the drawer has been removed from the tray, rest the drawer on the same level surface as the tray, align the drawer to its opening, and push the drawer into the tray.
note:See the HP 2000C User's Guide and online Toolbox for information about using the accessory paper tray with the printer driver software.
