HP Deskjet 1120c and 1220c Professional Series Printer - Printing a Booklet

Printing a booklet
Use this feature for printing and collating a multiple-page document into a book. For example, an eight-page document will print with pages one and eight on the same side of a piece of paper and pages two and seven will print on the other side of the paper.
 note:
If the software application has a booklet-printing feature, which is selected in the software application, do not select Booklet printing in the print settings.
If the software application has a collating option, do not select it when using the Booklet feature.
  1. Select the Features tab in the Print Settings window.
  2. Select Booklet.
  3. For the Deskjet 1120c,in the From box, select the document size that has been set in the application. Checking the To box will select a paper size twice the size of the document. For the Deskjet 1220c, select the document size that has been set in the software application in the Print document on box.
  4. Select Right Pages Only or Left Pages Only if alternate blank pages are wanted for taking notes.
  5. Check the Right to Left checkbox if the printed pages are to run from right to left.
  6. Select OK, load paper of the correct size in the printer, and print the document.
     note:
Make sure the paper in the printer is twice the size of the original document. For example, a letter-size document requires tabloid-size paper for the booklet feature to collate and print correctly.
  7. Follow the instructions on the screen to print on the reverse side of the paper.
  8. Collate the pages and form the booklet.
