HP Designjet 750c and 755cm Printers - AutoCAD Message, "There are Currently No HPGL/2 Devices Configured"
After configuring the printer in AutoCAD and typing HPCONFIG at the command prompt, this message appears: There are currently no HPGL/2 devices configured.
Try one of the following workarounds:
In AutoCAD, select Tools, Preferences, and then Printers. Check that, after the installation of the ADI Driver, the new configuration is set to current. If it is not, the system will not be able to use the HP Config.
If it is set to current try the following:
Delete all printer configurations from AutoCAD, reboot, reconfigure the printer and try HPCONFIG again.
Delete all printer configurations, re-install the driver, reconfigure the printer, try HPCONFIG again.
caution:The next step should be used only if you are familiar with configuring AutoCAD and the steps above do not work .
Rename the ACAD.CFG file to something like ACAD.CF0 and restart AutoCAD. This will force AutoCAD to reconfigure because it will not have a config file any more.
